Malic Acid (Cosmetic Grade)  

Malic acid (cosmetic grade) is a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) naturally found in fruits, especially apples (hence the name from malum, Latin for apple). In cosmetics, it’s used for exfoliation, skin brightening, hydration, and pH adjustment.
