Country Onions—also known as Rondelles, Bobimbi, or Olum—are aromatic seeds from the West African tree Afrostyrax lepidophyllus, sometimes called the garlic tree. They’re not true onions, but rather flavorful seeds with a strong garlic-like aroma and onion-like undertones.
