Green Cardamom Pod Powder
Green cardamom pod powder is made by grinding the whole green cardamom pods (Elettaria cardamomum) — both the fragrant seeds inside and sometimes the outer husk. It is one of the most popular spices in South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Scandinavian cuisine, prized for its sweet, floral, cooling flavor, and also used in Ayurveda and herbal medicine.
Compared to just ground seeds, whole pod powder has a slightly milder, more balanced flavour because the husk is included.
